I paint on unstretched canvas on a hard surface; so, I can manipulate the painting and materials in different ways like sanding and scraping. This allows me to really explore what I am doing on canvas. Because it is unstretched, this also allows you several presentation options.
Family Crest is a 28 by 28 canvas painting. I have painted up to all 4 edges (no white canvas), A lot of collectors like to mount and mat my canvas painting (28x28 inches), but you can stretch it too.
